OPPGNENTS GET N LACK FROM 'QPOWER PACKU The Hounds of '77 faced a strong challenge in the defense of their Lit- tle State and ICC crowns. With new head mentor Jerry England, the harriers rambled up to Notre Dame to compete in the state meet. With the title on the line, the Hounds ran true to form as they won their 3rd consecutive title. Erhard Bell led the team by taking individual hon- ors with MVP Herman Bueno a step behind. Captain, Steve Turner, Kieth Puckett and Roger Wright all ran excellent races to round out the Hounds scoring. The following weekend, Eng- land's hill-and-dale gang once again captured the ICC crown as they handily defeated Butler. The team will then look to replace departing seniors, Turner and Brewer for next year. Below - the 1977 Cross Country Team.
