It scored a remarkable total of T38 points in only six games and left the opposition with a mere 50 points. ln the Corsicana game the team scored a total of 26 points with only 6 for the opposition. David Granger and Darryl Cox shared the honors with 2 touch- downs each. George Courtney added 2 extra points. ln the Temple game the team scored 'I2 points with only 7 for Temple. Rex Whitaker made two touchdowns. ln the Belton outing the team scored 13 points to Belton's 12. David Granger scored on the first play from scrimmage on a 56 yard gallop. Darryl Cox scored also on a 60 yard romp. Granger added the extra point. ln the Austin game the team scored 21 points to Travis's 6. ln this game the touchdowns were scored by Ronald Ramsey QU, Alton McNew ill, and George Crow CU. In the Cameron game the team scored 33 points to speedy Cameron's 20, with David Granger scoring four touchdowns and Alton McNew scoring one on a brilliant 70 yard kickoff return. In the wild Killeen game the team scored a remarkable 33 points to Killeen's 0. ln a wet muddy game played by iunior high quarters we ran up a 26-0 lead in the first half and then coasted to a 33-0 win in the second half. Every one in the backfield shared the honors with at least one touchdown apiece. This year the team had a very good, well-balanced line that averaged 'I62 pounds. The "B" team could not have won its games without the help of its remarkable line.
