They deal with such matters as faculty appointments, pro- motions, budgets and curriculum requirements. In addition, the Deans are concerned about each student. Many a student has approached his Dean about ])robems. personal as well as academic. The Deans send out the cinch notes or deficiency reports at the end of each six weeks period and at the end of the semester. They also send out conj;ratulatt)rv messajies to tho se who have achieved scholastic honors.
