“In Action ! Partying all night, cramming for exams, playing practical jokes, and going to football games is the mental picture that many people have of UF students. Although this stereotype is somewhat exaggerated, it certainly implies something about UF student life : UF is a center of constant activity, innovation, and variety --- and there is never a dull moment! Events ranging from concerts, speakers, Mudfest, Gator Growl, elections, and Reggaefest, as well as the daily activity of the Plaza of the Americas and the Reitz Union, outline campus life.
