THE GENERAL EXTENSION DIVISION, a combined state and University agency, literally extends the faculty and facilities of our school to all those Floridians who cannot be resident students in Gainesville. Thus the University is made a truly statewide institution serving the needs of all Florida. Serving thousands each year in various capacities such as public service training, business courses, workshops, and citizenship training courses for aliens, the General Extension Division is versatile. Florida Film Classics League and their lending library, boast many circula- tion filmstrips and films another part of the many activities that the Division produces and sponsors. BERT C. RILEY. Supplying the state with its needed technological help in the field of agriculture, the Agricultural Extension Service covers the state with county agricultural agents, home demonstration agents, and local representatives of the Service. A facet of the University that, although little known by its students, plays an important role within the University and the state. Offering educational assistance in the form of direction or through its many publications, the Agricultural Extension Service has made outstanding contributions to the state and nation through its advancement in the field of agriculture. AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION SERVICE HOME DEMONSTRATION AGENT COUNTY AGENT Marksmanship and safety are learned at the Agriculture Service ' s Wildlife Camp. Florida Agricultural Extension Service Florida Youths arc taught soil and fold Judging skill,. 4 H boy, are educated in electric welding techniques.
