It aims to develop in its students a keen insight into human affairs, human relationships, and human problems, and thus thoroughly equips them to carry on the noble movement of education. The Teacher,s College has been in existence since the University was founded at Gainesville and h b d' ' as een irected by very able heads. The George Peabody Hall, en- dowed by the Peabody fund, houses the College at the present time.

r ,Wi 7 , 1. 3, be e.: Law Cgllllege DEAN 'rnnstrgn Widely known for the thoroughness of its teachings and for its high standards, the College of Law holds a prominent place in the Association of American Law Schools, of which it is a member. A strong, experienced faculty of seven full-time men, each holding academic and law degrees, teach the courses of the College, which include the latest methods of practice court instruction combined with trial practice. Since its or- ganization, in 1909, the College has graduated 517 students, most of whom have re- mained 'in Florida. The College of Law, by virtue of its splendid courses and practical instruction, is registered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York and listed among the approved law schools of the American Bar Association.

The College of Commerce and Journalism was established from what had previously been a department of the college of Arts and Sciences. The curriculum and purposes of the College of Commerce and Journalism have been heartily endorsed by the leading business men and newspapers of the state. With its able faculty it is rapidly taking its place among the leading institutions of its kind in the south.
