Much can, of course, be accomplished by the reading of volumes of works on medicine, surgery, mycology, pathology, endocrinology, vitaminology, and tropical and parasitic diseases-the student can peruse the literature for the latest on aneurysms, herniae, forceps, paralyses, nodules, bruits and enemas. But for the secrets of medicine, the individual instruction so necessary for the completion of one's education, we find the need for members of the faculty of the School of Medicine.
