“Arizona Turkish Folklore Organization The Arizona Turkish Folklore Organization was founded to assist in developing a degree of cooperation and interac- tion between its membership and often Arizona students, promoting a better understanding and greater knowledge of Turkish culture and Turkey as a nation. Weekly folk dance sessions, provided for UA students, highlighted the organi- zation. At the annual banquet, where nationwide entertain- ment was brought in, the folkdance group had the opportu- nity of performing.
