ADMINISTRATION cmd the Province and concerns itself with maintaining good public relations. Another of its duties is that of bestowing any honorary degrees it feels are appropriate. The Dean's Council conducts the day-to-day business of the University. As the functional Campus Administration, its duties are both disciplinary and executive. The Provost, Professor A. A. Ryan, serves as Secretary of the De-an's Council. The General Faculty Council, in coniunction with the indi- vidual faculty councils, arranges timetables, sets courses and examinations and recommends degrees, lt is the members of these last-mentioned bodies that come in closest contact with the student body and compose the largest segment of the Uni- versity government, tv' '5- :il s MRS.
