Student Government Association ada... All students who are accepted into the University of Alabama School of Nursing automatically become members of the Student Government Association. The governing body of this organization is the Student Council, which consists of four elected officers, the president of each class, and the two senators who represent the School of Nursing in the Student Government of the College of General Studies. The purpose of the Student Government Association is three- fold: to promote the closer relationship among students in the vari ous classes in the School of Nursingg to promote a clear and contin uous exchange of ideas and opinions between the students and the facultyg and to assume the fullest responsibilities and powers of self-government .
