The junior class, no longer smart sophomores and not yet envied seniors are the backbone of the school. Through their hard work and sacrifices they sponsored the anxiously awaited junior- senior prom. Choosing their class rings and writing the aptitude tests were just milestones on their way to taking that all-important step, becoming seniors! ln sports the juniors have played many important roles. The boys' basketball records were especially outstanding. All in all the junior class has contributed a generous portion of the work needed in completing our school activities. The wide-eyed and curious freshmen of last year stepped to the second rung of the ladder and became experienced and confident sophomores. Willing to share responsi- bilities, they took an active part in all projects of the school. They have many repre- sentatives in both band and chorus. They are not without versatility. So well did they adjust themselves to high school procedure that we soon forgot the forlorn, half- dazed expressions they wore the first few weeks of September.
