I think it was one of the things i’ll probably remember most about my senior y$ar. i’ll never figure out how i was able to drag myself outta bed at 6 a.m. after working til after midnight on floats, i guess what made it pay off was that our senior float captured first place in the float competition, i really wasn’t too surprised when doug marx and sherry hoffstetter were crowned king and queen and chris coder and jean dhondt were crowned prince and princess at the assembly friday morning, i never did get caught cutting all my classes after the assembly to help finish up our float, everyone was worried that the napkins on the floats would be ruined by the threatening rain but it stopped before the parade began at 2. my poor hands and feet froze at the game, but it was worth it to see us “beat da kwap out of um as we were victorious over the burlington greyhounds, 32-8. the cold didn’t seem to hinder the band though, because they performed an unbelievable halftime show which kept the crowd in their seats for a changel the dance, on Saturday night, with music provided by apocolypse, wrapped up a perfect weekend. 18—homecoming
