UP THE RIVER Here it is — isn ' t that great? I suppose it is to you, but a Kaydet sees it so much that he never realizes just how wonderful it is. About 700 feet, I should imagine, and straight down — it ' ll be a good ridt for the nerves, all right. TROPHY POIXT Why, most assuredly! — that ' s the reason they call it Trophy Point. Xo, it ' s only a part of the whole point ire call West Point. Yes. all those old Muzzle Loaders were used in some of our various vtars. Of course, those are piles of real cannon balls. I don ' t suppose thai you know that our Revolutionary forefathers chained up the majestic Hudson with a long series of links just like those around some old Mexican cannon. ♦ ♦ Why, certainly it worked; the British battleships couldn ' t pass Constitution Island at all. tuenly-four
