VGS POINT VICTORY 19 5 Knit one, pearl two development of the mind to the fullest potential The pages that follow are but a glimpse of the academics at Kings Point. Each professor in his own way contributes a lit- tle to the mental abilities of the students. Every new day pre- sents a new experience to be evaluated and acted upon. The academic community offers refuge from ignorance for those who wish to try. Most instructors are found to be ready to help any student whenever the need arises; but the success story of the student at Kings Point is necessarily an individual conquest over adversity. The limited study hours and max- imum load make many resign; but for those who stay, the sense of achievement is realized for a lifetime. The final product of the institution, the graduate, is the only means we have to measure the effectiveness of the aca- demics. Kings Point produces a graduate who is able to sur- mount seemingly impossible goals. With the beginning of new areas of study this past year we feel that Kings Point will not produce graduates second to none in the Marine Industry. LT. F. X. REYNOLDS - I J. ANTELL; LCDR. R. B.
