“CATION The Class of 1966 proudly dedicates its logbook to the memory of Lieutenant Commander Victor J. Lugowski. His love for the Academy, and the individuals of the Cadet Corps, was manifested over the years in organizing, and directing, the cadet Catholic Choir and coaching the Academy debate team. His love for Kings Point stemmed in part for his love of travel and the sea and many of his annual leave periods were spent traveling as an observer aboard naval vessels. Above all, he is remembered by the Class as a master in the art of teaching.
