The team’s record was 8-1, and this was all possible because of the tremendous effort the boys and coaches made. Statistics show, somewhat, how well this team played. The team had an average of 21 points per game while only letting their opponents score an average of 3 per game. As a team, they also intercepted 17 passes and recovered 13 fumbles. Scott Rager rushed for a total of 1063 yards, returned 9 kickoffs for 151 yards, 15 punts for 257 yards, and 8 interceptions for 215 yards. John Glusko received 7 passes for 116 yards, and Dave Tarr received 3 passes for 107 yards, all of which were touchdowns. This is only a small amount of statistics that show what the boys did this year, although each and every player added to the season. There were many senior players selected to All-Star football teams. Congratulations to the 1981 Varsity Football team. 86 Jr High Left to Right: Row I: Coach Busovicki. Rick Bertolino, Neal Huffman.
