Class Log continued from page 22 9. Open House tonight. Parents got to see what their children have done in school. Nice crowd here. 11. The last game of the season with Beaverdale. Nipped them, 6-0. Turned out to be quite a successful season. I knew the Lions” would come through. 13. Senior graduation pictures came. 13-16-17. The Seniors held their class play, Seventeen Is Terrific. Gosh ! wasn't it good 17. Cheerleaders had a Candy Sale for new uniforms. Yum-yum! 21. Senior name cards came today. My — what a commotion in the Senior room. 23-24. Hurrah! Two days vacation for Thanksgiving. 27-30. Our Thanksgiving vacation turned out to be quite a long one. Everyone was Snowbound.” DECEMBER 4. The cheerleaders and football players held an assembly to pick more cheerleaders. The School Directors were served by the Senior girls tonight. 8. Junior Class held a Candy Sale at noon — Delicious! 9. Sophomore Class had a Skating Party at Skateland. Wasn't it fun? 11. Seniors picked their announcements today. 12. Guess what? Yes, your right. Armagh downed Marion Center with the score, 33-32. You see you just can't keep the Lions down! 13. I wonder why everyone has such an odd look on his face? That's right — report cards due again! 18. Are the Juniors ever glowing with excitement today! You don't know why? Their pictures and rings came. 22. Christmas Spirit was celebrated in each decorated room. Now, that was fun and a splendid way to start our vacation. Had a basketball game with Gallitzin. No questions, please. 23. Another game in the red. Bolivar defeated the Varsity, 36-33. The J. V.'s won. though. Hurrah! JANUARY 2. Played Rossiter. Score, 31-27. They won. V Hope this puts our boys on a winning streak after downing Montgomery, 66-44. 8. Cover man came to retake a few Junior pictures. Was it the camera's fault, Juniors? 9. Ouch! Clymer downed the Varsity, 43-36. J. V.'s won. Keep it up J. V.'s. 10. Girls all look lonesome since the Ag. boys went to the Farm Show. 16. Another loss this time to Commodore. The score, 63-32. 19. This sounds more like our Varsity. Armagh topped Heilwood, 37-27. 22. End of third Six Weeks Period. 23. Cover was down and took the group pictures for the yearbook. 23. Report cards again. I wonder how our marks were ? 26. Armagh was turned back by Homer City, 34-33. It sure was a heart breaking game. 30. Downed by Gallitzin. FEBRUARY 4. Juniors held a Bake Sale at Dilltown. Lots of delicious things. 6. The Lions” triumphed over Montgomery Twp. Score, 31-30. 9. Another victory over Clymer. Nice going boys. Keep it up. 13. No one can say the thirteenth is unlucky unless it might be Bolivar. 16. The victory goes to Commodore. 20. Ask no questions about this game. 23. Last game and Dale holds the victory. MARCH 3. End of fourth Six Weeks Period. 8. Report cards due again . . . Some looked pleased ... yet others don't. 14. Ag. boys held a Skating Party at Skateland. Everyone seemed to have quite an enjoyable evening. 16. Class pins came today. 17. Senior Bake Sale at Dilltown. Junior Bake Sale at Clyde. 23. Good Friday. No school. Yipee! 26. Easter Monday. No school again. Now isn't that nice. APRIL 18. Seniors held the program — Washington Talent Night — Quite a variety of talent. 23. Report cards due again. Now do we agree with the teachers? 27. Sophomore Skating Party at Skateland. MAY 3.-4. Junior class play, A Ready Made Family. Wasn't it swell? 11. Spring Musical. 20. Senior Baccalaureate Services. 23. Tonight the seniors graduate ... at last. 26. Junior and Senior Prom. Did everyone have a good time? 30. No school today — Decoration Day. JUNE 7. Last day of school — Hurrah! SHAMROCK 27 19 5 1
