Coach Tommy Madill took the boys to camp for a week of hard practice. The season opened at South Fork with South Fork rolling over Armagh, 32-6. A week later Armagh turned the tables by de- feating Commodore, 12-6. The following week Armagh took its second win by defeating Avonmore, 15-6. The Lions lost their fourth game to a favored Homer City team, 18-13. Armagh bounded back in the winning column by downing Blacklick, 20-0. Armagh defeated a stubborn Clymer team by the score of 12-0. Armagh trounced New Florence High School by the tune of 26-0. Armagh won its fourth straight shutout by de- feating Pine Township, 28-0. The final game of the season was played under the lights at Saltsburg with the Lions going under to the score of 12-0. SHAMROCK-1950
