1941 o?4J 0370 SEPTEMBER- 3. Hi Ho! It's back to school we go. 5' New Class, Health with a new teacher, Mr. Aikey. We like them both. 10. All out for a pep meeting today. Nothing like the wide open spaces to get extra pep. 25' Our first movie this semester, Peck's Bad Boy. OCTOBER- 4 Hildebrand made his first touchdown of the season. Nice work, 19 22 25 31 31 Bill. Falling snowflakes caused students to scramble for their ear muffs. Report Cards. Enuff Sed. The man in the black hat visited us today, slipped off with our pictures. High School Hallowe'en Party. We all agree it was the best. The year book staff was selected. The capable staff was headed by Suzanne Varholak. NOVEMBER- 1 6 8 13 28 14-15 What? No school today! Teachers aren't getting soft-hearted, are they? Oh, hunting season. That's different but I still don't know whether I'1l get over the shock or not. Movie day-goody, only if they cut the third period I won't be able to loaf because that's supposed to be study hall. Someone said a student council meeting today. I certainly hope they set a date for a party or dance or something. This school's as dead as a doorknob. Phys. Ed. today turned out very well. We had exactly fifteen minutes gym work. A movie today-Well, give me a stick of chewing gum and let's go. Senior Play nights- Too' Many Husbands, -Comments, Very Good. 28-29: Two holidays for Thanksgiving-good-I never could get up the morning after the day before. DECEMBER- 6. A great day for Armagh's basketball fans. We won the first game of the season. Yea Team! 15: Gee only ten more shopping days till Christmas. 20. No more pencils, no more books until next year. It's Christmas vacation : JANUARY- 2: Listen! A bell. Oh! yes, back to school, just another year be- ginning. 30

8 . 17 ' 24-27: First movie of year, was enjoyed by all, and boy was it a thriller! Student Council got in a huddle for some brain work. Crepe placed over the door-Exams began. 28' Four score and 10 days to go. Yipper! I FEBRUARY- 7. Mr. Nagle and Son were here, but all High School students were 14. 15 18 21 26 27 disappointed-Imagine! It was too dark. Did Cupid get you? Or did you get a good laugh from your fun- ny Valenties? Just a laugh for most of us! St. Valentines day struck Armagh with a bang! Remember?? The Junior Party! A good time was had by all. Mr. E. A. Rowlands was here to give us some pointers on hobbies. We give our thanks, we are sure it helped. More brainwork for the Student Council. 'Rainbow on the River , at least we thought so, but we were dis- appointed when we heard the announcement read. No movie to- day. Poor Connections! CNo, Rainbow on the River. J This isn't leap year. Or is it? Guess not, but we sure were leap- ing over classes fsome may call it skippingj. Extra long assem- bly, also Rainbow on the River. At last! MARCH- 1: Saturday-Have you enough pennies saved to buy your Sham- rock? -LJ EMM.-.. , 4 Tournament at Indiana-Did we win? 33-'33 4 U ' Gdtuj 5: Crash! Don't get excited folks-Seniors had a skating party and some insisted on cleaning up the floor. 12 Oliver Twist comes to school. A little late I'd say. 13 Full moon, I suppose some of you noticed, or did YOU! 14. End of week. Got to class on time. Reason Class didn't meet. 21: More Brain Work, You guessed it-the Student Council meet. 26 Hoosier Schoolboy takes a bofw at Armagh. 28: Bad day for teachers, students were out watching the birdie dur- ing classes. APRIL- 1' All Fools day-No exemptions. 2 Smell! Spring has arrived. 11-12- 17-18 23: MAY 1- 2 25 28 13-14: Easter Greetings one and all. Sunshine Twins -Note to cast-Couldn't have been better.
