The play was given at the school auditorium Thurs- day and Friday evenings, November 6-7, 1939. Betty Thompson and James Lloyd were seen in the leading roles. The production was under the direction of Miss Katherine Mellinger. D? o?4J o?o l 1 FOOTBALL A few days before school started this year our new coach, Clarence Aikey, called all High School boys who were interested in playing football to come to practice. Then, and after the opening of school a large group of boys reported and donned uniforms. Several days later, of course, the team had been cut down to a num- ber that we thought would do a good job of fighting for good old A. H. S. The breaks this year seemed to have favored the other side but we are confident that with one year's experience, our team is ready to win next year. We wish to extend our appreciation to the citizens of the community and the students for the attitude in which they accepted football and hope Armagh that through the coming years you remain as faithful.
