Many times these hopes be- come the challenges and duties that later influence the action of the individual. The class of 1954 will soon experience the need to decide: What is my duty, my responsibility to myself, and to my society? It is earnestly hoped that each mem- ber will include in his plan of action two points, his duty of God, which every man must feelg and his duty to his neighbor, to do as he would be done by. GOOD LUCK TO THE CLASS OF "54". D. Russel Lee SENIORS OF 19 54 Graduation is a big step in your life. I hope a step toward greater things. We can have the guidance of parents, teach- ers and friends, but the shaping of our lives is our own work. It can be a"thing of beauty and a joy forever," or a thing of shame, as we ourselves make it. May yours be one of beauty, joy and trust.
