An active, vivacious personality, MRS. MATTIE B. PATTERSON travels, performs with the local amateur group, swims, enjoys dancing, and, in a quieter view, reads. The Spanish language is her true love, and most of her class room conversations are in that language . Mrs . Patterson has studied at North Car- olina College, University of Pennsylvania and ODC. She holds a B.A. Degree. Mrs. M. B. Patterson FOREIGN LANGUAGES MRS. BERNICE GREENE simply doesn ' t have time for hobbies as she is kept very busy raising two sons . Her degree in French and English was earned at Roasevelt College . She has done further study at Chicago Teacher ' s College and the University of Oregon. Mrs. LEOLA T. COLES, a graduate of State Teachers College, Elizabeth City with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education, stud- ied History and English.
