Dedication Having taught in conditions from a one- room school house in Hanlin Station to our present Union High School building, Mr, Malone realizes the duration of forty-one years of dedicated service to his profession. With his Bachelor of Science Degree, which he received in 1925, he has taught general science, history, and biology. At one time he was also the advisor of both the Hi-Y Club and a Biology Club. At the end of our present school term Mr. Malone is retiring, leaving the limelight of a teaching position at Union but hardly leaving our cherished memories. In Mr. Malone's farewell state- ments he felt that teaching young people for the past forty-one years has tended to keep him feeling young. Mr. Malone, we sincerely thank you, and we hope that we have given you at least a little satisfaction in comparison to all the knowledge, guidance, and friendship that you have given us. 3

On the other hand, however, she was a very sympathetic person, who would not shirk when help was needed by someone. Yes, Mrs. Harris is greatly missed by her friends and students, for theoreti- cally she is gone. Yet, in a different sense, she is not gone because her in- fluence on the lives of thousands lives on.
