Senior Dance Features The Toad ' ' Tlie Senior class presented the Toad Hop on October 4, 1970, in the audi- torium. Music was provided by the Toad , a band hailing from Cinci- nnati, Ohio. Dannie Witter and Nancy Starr, Seniors, were crowned King and Queen. Other candidates were Dave Hill and Marilee Irwin, Juniors; Tim Hartnian and Sharon McLaughlin, Sophomores; Jon McClellan and Peg Dicken, Freshmen; Jim Frazee and Diana Kist. Grade Eight; and Marty Hecker and Vickie Raisch, Grade Seven. Students swing to the music by the Toad. The Toad set the atmosphere for the students at the Se- nior dance. Dannie Witter and Nancy Starr were crowned King and Queen. Seniors sold raffle tickets for popular albums and singles. 10

Dannie Witter and Peg Vereker were crowned King and Queen of the 1970 Junior-Senior Prom. Debbie Robins and her escort, Mike Dunaway, pose for a picture outside the HoUday Inn, the site of the 1970 Prom. Witter and Vereker Reign at 1970 Prom The Holiday Inn of Richmond. Indiana, was the site of the 1970 Junior-Senior Prom. Music was provided by the Leonard Dils Orchestra. Intermission entertainment was provided by a group of singing Juniors. The highliglit of the evening was the coronation of Dan- nie Witter and Peg Vereker as King and Queen. Other candidates for King and Queen were Jerry Frazee and Pam Hor- nung, Carl Rader and Nancy Starr, Brian Brookbank and Pat Dicken, Becky Woodruff and Mike Johnston. The After-Prom was held at the O.xford Bowling Lanes. Breakfast was served by the Junior mothers. Senior girls and their dates enio ed tiie opportunity for dressing up and iiaving a gala night.
