Classes continued to be graduated from this same building until our pres- ent high school building was completed in 1927. Many features were added to the present high school building from the time of its erection until the present year. In 1927, it was changed to a four year high school and a more broad and general ac- ademic curriculum was adopted. The structure of this high school consisted of eight rooms and a principal's office. In 1936, an auditorium and stage were annexed mostly through the contribution of the Logue family. As the years passed, even a more broad cur- riculum was being adopted, when in the year 1949, a home economics room was added. General di- plomas were issued to all graduates until 1953, when the Sligo Boro School District entered into a jointure. - ---. 3 - ,-I. . . . .-gg: 'I..- Ir. fs ,-. -. .-?--. .'::. , .---,..,.-- 1,-r--if --1-I.. , . -..
