Even though the season was somewhat disappointing. Coach Guerricagoitia felt the team had good potential and she enjoyed working with all the girls. Overall, our won-loss record was less than impressive— second halfs in some games were frankly not good. At times we were very good and showed signs of coming together as a team. Especially memorable were the two Cove games: the first coming in the Christmas Tourney—the second later in the season was won by a last second shot by Tom Mitchell. Greg Orton was instrumental in our first league win over Pine-Eagle. Those who saw the Union victory over Enterprise will give lots of credit to the fine play of Richard Frank.
