BILL MARCRUM-weight 140, height 5' 8 In his freshman year Bill proved. his ability in athletics by first earning a letter his freshman and also his sophomore year in Basketball. Bill was one of the best players Unidis has had for years. He is a good shot, quick thinker and a very good floor man, This year he ended third in scoring honors with 96 points, In baseball Bill won his let- ter at all positions his freshman year. and the infield his Sophomore vear. His second year in school he won his letter in football at substitute end, which position he filled better than it was usu- ally filled. Bill has a long way to go in athletics and yet much to add to the glory of old Unidis. HERB ARNETT-weight 145, height 5' 8 Herb is one of the Sophomore star athletes. He started early his Freshman year winning his letter at center that year and also his Sophomore year. Herb was chosen on the Little Ten Team as center. Everyone kncws that he well deserved this honor. In baseball he also received two letters for these two years, his second as pitcher. He was responsi- ble for many of the victoi'ies of Unidis and he al- ways gives his best in a game. Although net win- ning a letter his Freshman year in basketball he was not discouraged. He returned his Sophomore year to get that letter. Even though Herb doesn't agree. he is bound to be one cf the best athletes to leave Unidis BOB ADAMS--weight 135, height -5' 8 Bobby's cnly active sport being football, he really does a good job and makes up for the other sprots. Due to a broken collar bone received in practice Beb was kept from playing his Freshman year. He returned his Sophomore year to make his letter as guard. Then his Junior year he switched to tackle. Bobs hard charging power made him spend most of his time in the ene4rny's back field. Bob has received his letter as being manager of Baseball and Basketball his Scphomore and Junior vear. HAROLD CURRY-weight 182, height 6' 4 This tall slim boy from Burnside alias Kinche- loe started to make a good record for himself his Junior year by placing as first string tackle on the footba.l sqaud. When opponents saw Curry in uni- form they thought they were playing a race from another world. In basketball Harold played center doing a bang-up job underneath the basket. He was in second place for high point honors with 155 points during the season. It is well agreed that he deserves all the praise he gets and more. Harold will be trying to get that third letter this spring in Baseball.
