A Message From The Principal " The iheme of Shield, 1975, centers about the changes, the differences of what once was and Grant High School today. It is truly an attempt to bridge the gap between the past and the present. In its own way the Shield is facing the age old problem which modern society calls the " generation gap- " Just as our physical plant and our approach to mores change so do our relationship with people change. Since changes can take place at various speeds, we must recognize that greater and lesser gaps will be created. Society must work toward the closing of gaps and the cre- ation of understanding.
