CLASS HISTORY When a raft of timid, wide-eyed, green youngsters begin a battle against such a monster as Depression, that's history. So that's what l'll call our entrance into Uhrichsville High School. In the year of good old 1930 we began our mighty battle. For four years we strove together to attain the goal, Graduation Ev- ery battle has its merit and we believed in the maxim. To the victor belong the spoils. Maybe we were a little silly at times, but even at that we weren't so different from other classes in that respect. Not only did we enjoy our social times, but we also managed to attain some excellent scholastic standards. just ask somebody who knows. We won't be at all surprised, if we turn out some outstand- ing mathematicians, scientists, poets, musicians, writers, business men and women, architects, dress designers, and-well, what have you? lt certainly is a jolt to all of us that our high school history has come to an end. But here's hoping we will always feel just a little pricking within, as we think of the days when we were that pesky, jolly, tramping, howling gang-the class of 34 . Laura Watson.
