AT TIMES WE L NGE D F R C NTACT FR M H ME T AY WAS N T NE F T1-1 sEfH At first the mail trickled in A little bit here and there, with an air of competition over who received the best package or Whose spouse sent the best cookies n this day EVERYONE got mail and A L T OF IT' Not a soul onboard would have ever imagined the out pouring of support we would receive from home in the form of endless packages and letters Normally mail comes to ships in the Gulf from Bahrain via Vertical On Board Delivery faka VODJ a CH 53 loaded to the gills On our deployment the beach det in Bahrain became so inundated with packages and letters for LCU.
