The Supply departrrrent consists offour primary divisions: Stores tS-ll, Food Service iS-22, Sales KS-3j, and Disburs- irrg iS-Jr. Each division has its own unique challenges and r'esporrsilrilities. he Stores division is primary mission is to requisition, pr'ocur'e, receive, store and issue repair parts and corrsurrralrle items. Tlrey are the-financial managers ofthe slrip Is OPYHR-tiirrds. They are responsiblefor the access and operations ofthe SNAP computer system which is used during the reqriisitiorring process. They operate the Post Office. ensure the security ofhiglz cost Depot Level Repairalrle tDLRr parts and manage the shipboard Hag- ardous Material pro gram. he Food Service division is responsiblefor the over- all quality, variety and nutritional content ofthe meals served onboard. Additionally they are charged with tlze sanitation and cleanliness ofthe Galley, Mess Decks, and Wardroom and Chief Petty QfficerMesses. They maintain over 45 days worth of frozen and dry provisions 88 l l I P l as well as organize the replenishment of these iI6'H1-Y' he Sales division provides numerous services for Ill! crew. They operate the laundry, the barber'sl10l'f 'he candy and soda vending machines, the coin clrangeltlllll the MONTEREY Plaza Store.
