t M WILLIAM GRIFFITI-I Photography ENTER There can be no doubt but that the Staff owes a great debt to Dr. Fritz Schubert, of the College of Dentistry, for the invaluable assistance he rendered at a time when the success or failure of the 1940 MEDICAL CENTER hung in the balance. Its in- debtedness to him is something that cannot be overlooked in any way, and it is hoped that the success of this volume will give him the same feeling of satisfaction it has given those who have worked to publish it. Acknowledgement is due Mrs. Catherine Brown, of the College of Pharmacy, for the aid she has so unselfishly given. Dr. George Steninger, of the College of Den- tistry, who has guided us financially, must also be presented with our thanks for his efforts in our behalf. It is the sincere hope of the graduating members of the Staff of the l94O MEDICAL CENTER that a precedent has been established which will be car- ried on by succeeding classes.
