Mr. Chester A. LaFever A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL The 1962-'63 school year will always be unique and special in the minds of all as we thumb through our year- book. This year we are grades seven through ten. However, we have become a full-fledged secondary school in that we played our first varsity football, basketball and track sched- ules and our f or e ns i c team competed against other high schools for the first time. Parents and students alike have worked diligently to build an athletic stadium. I am convinced we h av e the best high school in this county because of the loyalty and enthusiasm of our student body and parents. This is a banner year for Nashville and Davidson County in thata new government has been formed and, that a new high school is making its mark. From this moment on we will make history together. Chester A. LaFever 4
