Reid Dedication To Mr. Garth Reid, who for the past 10 years, has advised the Coyote Staff, this book is ap- preciatively dedicated. Many fine books have been published under his capable sponsorship and it is our sincere wish that this 1952 Coyote will come up to the high standards he has always maintained. IN REMEMBRANCE How sad that the sun should set so soon On a lad who loved life so well! Like a bud that is broken Before it reaches full bloom, Like a fading echo in an empty room, Like the scent of perfume on a summer breeze, Like the rustle of the wind in the autumn leaves, Little things that make the world more dear, We treasure his memory because he has been here. Anal though he is gone-- This friend fair and true The world is far better Because he passed through. The Student Court of nine judges takes action when students can not, or do not, abide by our student rules. One of the best ways to learn about democracy is to be a part of it and make it work in high school. Each year our school awards the Citizenship Cup to the elass that has the greatest number of points to its credit in school citizenship. l.'a1'ticipation in worthwhile activities, supporting class laws and school projects, good attendance and proinptness at all classes-all these are citizenship points. Joy, sadness, pleasure, fright. How I got here I have no notion. The faces of the friends I 've known Through years of youth-its ups and downs Are changed today. Today we've grown Into a line of caps and gowns. Where will I go from here? I ask. A road before me stretch-es far Unlike this aisle on which I march To "Pomp and Circumstances" bar. The club was organized on November 28, 1949 and was named the Anna H. Hayes Club in honor of the National President of the Congress of Parents and Teachers, Mrs. Hayes of Twin Falls. The twenty-three members atend meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month with alter- nate meetings at noon and in the evening. For the last two years, money has been raised by the club for a scholarship which is presented to a senior member who is definitely entering the teaching profession.
