Shults, Advisor Floyd Curl, Senior Representative Elwood Boosey, Iunior Representa- tive Barbara Baker, Sophomore Representa- tive Edna Frances Iohnson, Freshmen Representative Holding its first meeting two weeks before school closed in Iune 1935, the new Audion Staff was given an inspir- ational and admonitional talk by the re- tiring l935 editor, Bruce Mayhugh, As- signments were also given for advance summer work anticipating the 1936 edition of the Audion. At the second meeting, held on the first day of school this year, the theme and dedication were decided upon, as- signments were called for, and the work on the 1936 Audion started in earnest. From then on, the editor and his as- sistants labored daily, planning the book, making the Hdummyn, and revising and editing the copy which the members of tlie staff faithfully kept up to date. With the friendly help and coopera- tion of Miss I-lield and the Broadcaster Staff in giving the Audion publicity: of Mr. Nleans in lending his support: of Mr, Clarence Bowman and Miss Frances Parks in handling phone calls and cor- respondence, making announcements and patiently attending to many clerical de- railgg of the printers, Steele and Mclnnis. the photographer, Mr. Roland Rabe, and Mr. lohnson of the Santa Ana Engrav- inq Company in their sympathetic assist- ance, the book finally took definite shape.
