Ile is a busy executive, but his office is always open to students, faculty members, and friends with problems that need his attention. We congratulate the Board on its selection in so capable a man! His friendly manner and pleasing personality have already made the students feel that they have a staunch friend whom they may consult at any time. Our heartiest welcome and good wishes to you. ,CP incipa Miss Clara L. Verner A friend to all The lady with a pleasing personality, a cheery "Hello" . and a heart of gold. That's "Miss Clara." Our Office Helpers Miss Susie Mae Smith, Miss Ruby Mullenix, and Mrs. Mil- dred Hodo are our very ca- pable office helpers, whose willing and never failing services place them in the heart of every student. "Miss Clara" Sends Greetings to T. H. S. Alumni In Uniform Dear Boys and Girls: To us you are still our boys and girls, often and most affectionately in our thoughts. The vestibule of our school has become a shrine where the chief centers of interest are crimson and black bordered panels bearing your names. Visitors scan the lists with deep interest, and scarcely a day passes without additions being made. Walls so adorned are hallowed walls indeed. Beneath your names this year on homecoming day a brilliantly lighted exhibit case displayed the trophies and loving cups that during more than a quarter of a century you have brought home to your Alma Mater. They celebrate your triumphs in many fields: music, journalism, and athletics. The silver football presented by the P.-T. A. after the victory over Senn High, Chicago, in 1926, proclaims a national championship. Our hopes and prayers for you may be expressed best by the Fisher- man's Benediction, anciently pronounced over departing Scandinavian fleets: "May the Lord bless thee and keep thee, grant thee favoring winds, a prosperous voyage, safe harbours, and stout hearts for the storm," Faithfully yours, CLARA L. VERNER. SEVEN .- 5...
