STANLEY KESTYN Sonny A carefree and a jolly way he had. Sonny played four years of football and intramural basketball. He belonged to the T Club, and to the History Club being elected secretary of the History Club his senior year. Sonny ushered at the junior Prom and was also a Stage Manager for our senior play. EARL KUKUKLA He fed hir .rpirit with the bread of hook: and Jlaheaf hir thirst at the well: of thought. Earl is a World War II veteran. He served in the United States Navy and Air Corps for eight years. Because of his responsibilities as a husband and father, Earl has a job after school and does not participate in any activities. He shows a great deal of ambition in coming back to finish his hi h school career. Earl, you've been a very welcome addition to our class and you are liked and admired by both students and teachers. THEODORE LaCLAIRE Ted He hath an infinite deal of wit. Ted was a member of the Rifle Club. He also served on many dance committees. He was the manager of the Boys' Basketball Team and played intmmurals. Ted didn't take part in many activities because he was needed at home, nevertheless, we realize that Ted, although quiet and unassuming, is one of the nicest boys in the senior class. Ted was also our able electrician for the senior play. PAUL LeMOINE Paulie A little rtomenre now and then IJ relished by the wirert men. Paulie was a member of the band and orchestra during his junior and senior years. He sang in the Boys' Glee Club and was also vocalist for the Swingsters. Paulie was a member of the French Club and the Camera Club. He was a member of the Netop and Yearbook staffs and was a junior Prize Speaker. He took the part of Ted in the play, Our Miss Brooks. Paul also played basketball and tennis. 27

ALICE JACKSON Sis Laugh and he merry Betterthe world with a Jong. Sis was one of our peppiesr basketball players being a member of the Varsity squad for four years. During her sophomore year she was a twirler in the band. Sis was also a member of the Art and Glee Clubs. She has been on quite a few decorating committees and was secretary to Mrs. Reidy. Sis was also on the make-up crew for our senior play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. DUNSTON GREY JACKSON, JR. Dunny He fills hir lifetime with deedr not with inactive years. Dunny will be remembered for the way he was always willing to lend a hand. He was a member of the History Club his senior year and was on the Netop and Yearbook Staffs. Most of his spare time was spent in helping to decorate for many dances. He was also stage manager of the play, And Came The Spring, and for our senior play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street as well. DONALD FRANCIS KELLY Simp A little nonrente now and then can do little harm. Simp played basketball for four years and he was elected captain of the basketball team his senior year. He also was on the football team for two years and went out for track his senior year. He was a member of the T Club and History Club. Besides these he ushered at several dances and portrayed Buzz Lindsay in the play, And Came The Spring. DOLORES KENDROW Dodo Alwayt a helping hand to a friend in trouble. Dodo was a member of the Home Economics Club, Girls' Glee Club, and the Com- munity Service Club. She also belonged to the French Club and was a Bank Day Cashier for two years. Ushering at the Sophomore Social and secretary to Miss Purrington were also to be found on her list of school activities. 26

JOSEPH MALINOWSKI Joe An able mart who shows his spirit by gentle words and resolute ideas. Joe found it necessary to work throughout high school, but nevertheless found time to play baseball for three years and basketball for one year. ELLIOT CLINTON MARKHAM Elly The mildest manner with the bravest mind. Elliot went out for basketball for two years and football for one year. He was a mem- ber of the Boys' Glee Club for three years and was librarian in his senior year. He was an alternate for Junior Prize Speaking and a member of the History Club for one year. He played the part of the father in the play And Came The Spring, and the part of Captain Cook in the senior play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. DEAN MATHERSON Deanihu Norte so near the gods as he who shows kindness. Dean worked all through high school and thus had little time for extra curricular activities, though he ushered at the Junior Prom and the Freshman Hop. JEANETTE JEAN MAGDYCZ Jeannie Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows. Jeannie was a member of the Art Club, History Club, Community Service Club, and was on the nominating committee in her junior year. She played basketball for four years and inrramurals for three years. 28
