ISABELLE DICKSON Zip Our wortb is determined by tbe good deed: we do. Zip was on the staff of Netop and Yearbook. She showed her athletic ability by becoming a guard on the Girls' Basketball Team. In her junior year, she was an usher for Class Day and Graduation and this year she decorated for the Freshman Hop. Zip also was chairman of our Columbus Day play besides being one of the cast. Zip was' also on the- costume committee for our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. MARIAN ELLEN DUNCAN Dunc A workman ir known by bi: work. Marian has taken an active role in quite a few of our organizations. In her Fresh- man year, she belon d to the Home Economics Club of which she was the treasurer. She was also a membir of the Community Service Club and hit the high notes in the Glee Club for three years. Proving her business ability, she was one of the head Bank Day Cashiers and assistant to Miss Kelley, Mr. Burke's secretary. Serving on several dance committees, she was on decorations for the Sophomore Social and Prom and refreshment committee for the Freshman Hop. She was an usher for Junior Prize Speaking. During her Senior year, she was on Netop and Yearbook staffs. She was also in the Armistice Day play. Dunc was also on the make-up committee for our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. HELEN VIRGINIA EVANS It ir ber nature to be calm and undirturbedf' Helen was in the History Club, Girls' Glee Club, and Community Service Club. She was also on the decorating committee for the Junior Prom. She also served on the ticket committee for our senior play. JOSEPH VENCIL FOLK, JR. Joe Men of great abilities are generally of a large and vigorous nature. joe proved his love of sports by participating in both football and basketball for four years and the track team for two years. He was a member of the T Club for three years and belonged to the History Club in his senior year. 23

ELIZABETH CROTEAU Liz Her patience will achieve more than her force. During her freshman year, Liz was in the Economics Club. She also was a member of the French Club, Community Service Club, and the Girls' Glee Club. GRACE DAMGN Gracie Affect no bonour but what .the can give. Gracie was one of the peppiest members of the tumbling team. She also took an active part in the Community Service Club. ELLA DAUPHINAIS Ellie Softly rpeak and Jweetly Jmilef' Ella was a member of the Home Economics Club in her freshman year. During the next three years the History, Art, Camera, French, and Community Service Clubs occu- pied her time. She was one of our capable Bank Day Cashiers and secretary to Mr. Bordeau in her senior year. In addition, Ella was on the decorating committee for the junior Prom and ushered at Prize Speaking and for various school dances. She also was on the ticket committee for our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. ROBERT JOSEPH DESAUTELS Bob A graceful and a pleasing figure if a perpetual letter of recommendation. Bob was active in sports, playinf basketball for four years, football and baseball three years, and track two years. He playe intramural basketball for four years and was a mem- ber of the T and History Clubs. He was also vice-president of our class in his sophomore year. Bob played the part of Allen in the Columbus Day Play and was a member of the Netop and Yearbook Staffs. He ushered at various dances. Bob also was one of the stage managers for our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. 22

KAY NELLIE FOLK Bounty in uforh and effort made honorable. Kay took part in many clubs throughout her high school years. She was in the Home Economics Club, Community Service Club, History Club and Art Club. Being very artistic, Kay served on various decoration committees and was chairman of the Freshman Hop. In commercial work, she was a Bank Day Cashier and secretary to Mr. Fugere. Kay was also on the ticket committee for our senior play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. CHRISTIAN FRITZ Buddy Born for success, he seemed with grace to win and heart to hold. Buddy played great football for four years at Turners Falls High. He ushered at the junior Prom and was elected President of our History Club his senior year. He also was an active member of the T Club for three years. DONALD GELINAS Gelly A good man ir rather to he chosen than great richer. Donald was extremely active in the field of sports. He played football, basketball, and baseball and also was on the track team for four years. In addition, he belonged to the French Club for one year and the T Club for three years. EDNA GENDREAU Politene.f.r goer far, yet costs nothing. Edna came to our high school in her senior year and therefore had little chance for our activities. She formerly lived in Townsend and spent her first three years of high school there, where she was a cheerleader. We were very glad to have Edna join our class and this year she became a member of our History Club. 24
