LAURETTE PHYLLIS BORDEAUX Laurie Nothing in life is more wonderful than faith. Laurie was a member of the Home Economics Club, the Community Service Club, The History Club, andlthe Girls' Glee Club. She ushered at Graduation her junior year and was on the decorating committee for the Junior Prom. Laurie also was a ticket seller for our senior play. PHILIP BORDEAUX Phil An upright, downright honest man. Phil was a member of the Boys' Glee Club for three years. He played Intramural Basketball during his Sophomore and Junior years. He did a line job in the role of Charles Barrett in The Barretts of Wimpole Street. Because Phil shouldered a man's responsi- bilities at a very early age and carried on through high school he has not had time for those many extra activities which mean so much to the average student. We are proud, Phil , to number you among the most dependable of the Class of '54. LEWIS A. BROWN 'Bud True Jilence if the rert of the mind. Bud was a member of our band for one year. He sang with the Boys' Glee Club for three years and was on the track team for one year. Bud was also George Moulton- Barrett in our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. PATRICIA BROZO Pat Bene1zolence in :mall thingrf' Pat was in the Home Economics Club in her Freshman year and was one of the snappy tumblers for four years. She was also a member of the Art, Community Service, and History Clubs. Pat served as secretary to Mr. Sullivan and was a Bank Day Cashier in her senior year. She also ushered at Class Day and Graduation. Pat was a ticket seller for our senior play. 19

JACQUELINE ANN ANNEAR jackie To know her wa: to love her But golden wa: her hair, I will not lie. Jackie, who has been one of our peppy cheer leaders for two years, started by being a J.V. cheerleader during her sophomore, year. Besides being active in cheering, she was in the Art Club for one year, Community Service Club for three years, History Club for three years, and she was a tumbler for four years. jackie played Intramural basketball for one year, ushered at the junior Prom, was on the nominating committee her sophomore year and ushered at the Freshman Hop. In her senior year she was manager of the Girls' Basketball Team. Jackie was a ticket seller for The Barretts of Wimpole Street our Senior Play. JOAN BEVERLY BEAUCHAMP joanie A friend may well he reckoned ar the mafterpiece of Nature. Joanie was active in the musical department all four years. She was in the band for four years, orchestra three years, and Swingsters for two years. Along with these activities she belonged to many clubs including the History, Camera, Art, and Girls' Glee Club. joanie played basketball for two years and was a tumbler for four years. She also ushered at the Sophomore Social and the Freshman Hop. Joanie did a line job as Bella in our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Streetff RAYMOND BENDER Ben The laughter of man, if the contentment of God. One of our most active students was Ray. He was on the football team for three years, tennis team for four years, Boys' Glee Club for three years, Manager of the basket- ball team for two years, and played intramurals for four years. Along with this he belonged to the Art, History, and T Clubs. Ray was an alternate for junior Prize Speak- ing and ushered at the Sophomore Social, Freshman Hop, and the junior Prom. He dis- played his acting ability in the play Our Miss Brooks , in which he played the part of the athletic coach, and in the Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street , in which he played the exacting part of Edward Moulton-Barrett. EDWARD BIALECKI Eddie Beneath a rough exterior he hides a heart of gold. Eddie was fairly active in sports during his four years at Turners. He played football for two years, basketball for one year, and baseball for one year. I8

WALTER CADRAN Sincere and ever trying. Walter was a member of the Rifle Club and the History Club. He also participated in many track activities. MILDRED ELIZABETH CALL Millie Sweetness, goodness in ber person shine. Millie was very active in musical activities during her high school years. She was a member of the band for four years, being librarian for three years, a member of the orchestra for four years, the Swingsters for three years and the Glee Club for three years. She also belonged to the Community Service Club, Home Economics, Camera, and History Clubs. Besides this she was on the Netop and Yearbook Staffs, ushered at the Sophomore Social, Junior Prom, Freshman Hop, and junior Prize Speaking. She was also on various decorating committees. Millie helped on the costume committee also for our Senior Play, The Barretts of Whnpole Street. WILLIAM JOHN CARE Bill It certainly if conceivable, He'1 xbort, ligbt and unbelievable. Bill took an active part in the Art Club, History Club, and French Club. He was on the ring committee in his sophomore year and served on the decorating committee for the Sophomore Social. HELEN LOUISE CHAGNON Chag Wire to rerolve and patient to perform. Chag was president of the Home Economics Club and contributed much to the tumbling team during her four years. She was a member of the Camera Club, History Club, Community Service Club, and the Girls' Glee Club as well as being an usher for Junior Prize Speaking. Chag also served as Bank Day Cashier and as secretary to Miss McGillicuddy. Chag was also on the make-up committee for our Senior Play, The Barretts of Wimpole Street. 20
