If physical size was totally ignored, he would still be outstanding. He is large in character and personality. He is admired not only for what he says, but for the sincere way in which he listens. Only a man interested in others has this quality. His warm, friendly face has become an important part of Turner County High School. We wish to pay tribute to this man by dedicating the 1974 Rebel to—Coach John Dye. 17 TURNER COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION Superintendent - Mr. D. C. Patsy Mangham had the highest score for the 1973-74 school year. Even this tremendous hones' can not adequately tell the kind of student Patsy has been through her school years. She has been a leader morally, academically and athletically. Her warmth and friendliness bubbled over and made each day more pleasant for those around her. Patsy chose Mrs. Martha Carter as her Star Teacher because she is such an effective teacher and because she is so easy to admire. 130 AWARDS AN Patsy Mangham and Vic Hardin - I Dare You Award - Exchange Club Award (Best All-round Boy and Girl).
