Tunncn coumv  ICW SCHOOL Often we find victory, but we also know defeat. Perhaps this is as it should be. If we always won, someone else would always lose. We need to experience both winning and losing in order to maintain bal- ance and order in our lives. 9 11 THE REBEL Turner County High Ashburn, Ga. Volume XVI, 1973 TABLE OF CONTENTS 13 DEDICATION To be associated with a person who makes each day a bit brighter just by being herself, is delightful. This kind of person is rare, and we at T.C.H.S. are truly fortunate to have her. Throughout life we meet vast numbers of people, but only a chosen few rest so pleasantly on our minds. They do so because of their special qualities. This lady seems to thrive on service to others. Friendliness is a habit, and a warm smile is a constant part of her daily routine. Students appreciate the fact that she is helpful and pleasant, and they appreciate just as much her straightforwardness. In pre- paring for the future, students find hills to climb and burdens to bear. She helps each student eval- uate himself and his abilities so that he may make realistic plans for the future. Because we admire her, we didicate the 1973 Rebel to a lady overflowing with per- sonality, Mrs. Sarah Wilson. 14 TURNER COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MR. D. C.
