TOLD: DRE The 1982 Tolo dance was a huge financial success as the A.S.B. raked in over two-hundred and fifty dollars profit. Although the dance yielded a nice sum of money, the band, Truce, left some thing to be desired. They really stunk! exclaimed Linda Williams, social chairperson. I wished that we could've had a better band, but we really could not afford one, she explained further. The theme for the dance was 'Sweet Dreams and the Performing Arts Center was decorated to fit the occasion. The pictures were taken by Parnell, and the pictures featured a rainbow background surrounded by palm trees and a sandy beach. This did not have much to do with Sweet Dreams, but one dance goer described it this way, lust think of yourself lying on the beach surrounded by foxy chicks. That's something I dream about every day! At any rate, most of the dancers seemed to have fun even though Truce was not the greatest rock-n-roll sensation to hit Tumwater High School.

Out of the Swing Choir was formed a Mens Quartet featuring Mike Lewis, Kraig Shaner, Marvin Williams and Darrell Boyd. They performed around the community and at '24 Night on Broadway this year. The Swing Choir consisted ob Cindy Vogel, Angie Stone, Willie Richardson, Ted Luellen, Lisa Robinson, Kraig Shaner, Lauren Langelle, Lynn Luikko, Brenda Loescher, Dawn Roy, Chris Chapman, Robyn Packer, Darrell Boyd, Mike Lewis, Mar- vin Williams, Todd Lewis, Brett Lewis, Andy Damis and Kevin Anderson.
