The evening fea- tured Maynards style of blending swing, jazz and rock into an exciting sound. Maynard Double High-C Fer- guson considers himself to be a multi- directional trumpet player and band leaderfcomposerfproducer. He blazed his way through countless jobs, rang- ing from soloing with the New York Philharmonic, to playing for the clos- ing ceremonies of the i976 Olympics.
