Being unsuccessful, the Wildcats never gave up. They were always playing to win whether they were defeated or not. It seemed that other teams had an advan- tage of greater height over the Wildcatsg but our girls were in the game every second. The Wildcats ended the season by defeating Huntland twice. The fact that they won only two games did not change the Wildcatsg they showed the quality of Sportsmanship which made the team outstanding. The sextet began the tournament with a bang! They defeated Lynchburg. Then to their sorrow they were defeated by Blanche, who was seeded second in the district. But, all in all, the Wildcat sextet was one of the outstanding teamsg and the school was proud of them.
