00 a 4,6 'fr Po The Class of l957 entered Tulare Hugh School In September 550 strong full of enthusnasm and the wullungness to work Durlng the furst semester, under the leadershup of Presndent Rodney Brown, we undertook many actcvntnes Chief of these were wrappang goal posts for home games presentlng a successful Freshman Parent Night Program operating a prof stable refreshment stand at the East Bakersfield game and holdnng the annual All Frosh dance un January to clumax the P E dance program Our most successful all school actuvuty was a rally before the Portervllle basketball gamenn January featurnng the farewell of l953 and the lntroduc tnon of the lnttle New Year to T U H S Others elected for the fnrst semester were Robert Trammell vuce presudent Sherry Graves secretary and Kathryn Uiayl I-lutsell treasurer The offucers elected for the second semester were Janne Shore, presndent Jerry Lanrd vice president Linda Finlayson secretary and Annette Lorenzo treasurer Our actuvltues, other than programs presented atclass meetings, were chnefly grouped at the end of the semester and included the tradutlonal decoratuon of the powder room for the Junlor Sensor Prom and decoratuon for the Baccalaureate service All thus was accompllshed under the guidance of Mass Prudence Oleson
