Dane Sturgeon Miss Lois Thompson Robert Mathias Senior Class The Seniors of ,48 had an interesting and active year and have found a great deal of pleasure in Working for the good of the school. The first activity for the year was the election of their officers in the fall. They were the following: Dane Sturgeon, presidentg Bob McCallister, vice presi- dentg Susan Vtfiseman, secretary, Joanne Vaughn, treasurer. They were succeeded by Bob Mathias, president, Quentin Ely, vice president, Jeannie Smith, secretary, Joanne Vaughn, treasurer. The next activity was the selling of pennants, emblems and caps during the football season. In December, the Christmas Dance was given. One of the outstanding events of the year was the institution of a Senior Flag which flew on Senior Dress-Up Day. The'Senior play t'Nothing But the Truth, was a huge success and was pre- sented before a full house on March 5. Senior Government Day was April 29. The perfect year was toppedoff by the annual Ditch Day, Senior Breakfast, Numeral Planting, and last but not least, Baccalaureate and Commercement.
