Freshmen climbed the steps of Tulare High, beginning their
High School Career. They were: Roger Denker, Dale Cockrell,
Glenn Nowell, Gerald Binger, Clinton Stoner, Raymond Ernster
and Delores Meyer.
The first big event of the year came during the second
week of school, this was the Freshmen initiation. That even-
ing 2. party was given in the Freshmens honor, making them
full fledged members of T. H. S. The year ended with the
school picnic at Cottonwood Lake.
. In the Sephomore year the members of the Class were: Glenn
Nowell, Gerald Ringer, Clinton Stoner, Delores Meyer, and
George metein. Glen Nox-Iell quit during the first semester.
This year the school had a swell time for their picnic at
Cottonwood Lake. '
The Class which had dwindled to four eagerly started the
Junior year. The main event of the year was our play,"Bolts
and Nuts" which WS 3. big success. The last main event of
the year wns the Junior-Senior Banquet held at Huron.
The banquet had a cowboy theme and the table wes decorated
with covered wagons guns and holsters. This year for our
picnic the High School went to Huron for a picnic dinner and
a roller skating party.
All the students returned for the Senior year and two new
members, Cleone end Leon Walton were added to the Class.
The Senior play, "Auntie's Money" was the first main event
of the year. The Seniors were guests at the traditional
Junior-Senior Banquet and everyone had a swell time ..
Commencement exercises were held on may 23, and we were
very happy to receive our diplomas. We will alwr-ys look
back on the happy days which we spent at Tulare High..
