Oak Leaves The Oak Leaves was founded at Tulane University in Oc- tober, 1944, as the organization of the Naval trainees who are following the Supply Corps program in the College of Commerce and Business Administration. The name is derived from the Oak Leaves Insignia worn by a Supply Corps officer of the Navy. The organization holds semi- monthly meetings for discussion of common problems and for the showing of appropriate Naval training films. Social events are featured approximately once a month and group tours to points of interest about the city are arranged more frequently.
