Remaining club funds paid for record albums donated to the school library. The EX Libris Club was a local di- vision of the State Student Library Associa- tion. Member Roberta Waldron held the office of state program committee chairman. Following a luncheon the ART CLUB toured the Tucson Art Center during the se- mester break. Creating and selling pinatas and Christmas cards helped earn money to purchase picture frames for art work in the library. Workshop activities of the club varied as members explored the different aspects of art, including sculpture and oil painting. Orators participated in the Arizona Inter- scholastic Association State tournament in April and the Forensic League of Arizona Spring Trophy contest in March. The NA- TIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE concentrated heavily on debate and sent four debators to the Arizona State competition in Tempe. Mem- bers had a year-end party in which the squad held a contest among themselves.
