The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Dr. David Dye, was one of. five plays chosen to be per- formed for the American College Theater Festival regional finals. It was the first time a play from an Alabama college has been chosen to compete in the contest. This play was presented at Troy State in the Spring of 1 973 to sellout crowds every night of its run.
